My enthusiasm for Build and Test Automation was inspired early during my studies at the Technical University of Graz and I became a student assistant for courses related to those concepts. Moreover, I was employed as student trainee at AVL List, responsible for the Build and Test Automation of a software product. In collaboration with the company, I‘ve completed my master‘s thesis at the Institute of Software Technology. After finishing my studies, I was employed full-time at AVL List. Since then I was strongly involved in the establishment of a Continuous Delivery Pipeline almost from scratch and in DevOps related topics. Currently I‘m a DevOps Engineer, responsible for three agile teams, designing and implementing Continuous Delivery solutions, enabling DevOps approaches and mentoring student trainees. In addition I‘m an advisor of a Bachelor‘s Thesis of my student trainee and head of the company‘s internal DevOps Community of Practice.
