Big Data infrastructure architect and enthusiastic DevOps Engineer for the Data:Lab (Volkswagen).
After some years in public research field in Italy (INFN) and in Germany (Max Planck Gesellschaft), I moved to the business sector excited by new opportunities and challenges, first joining an agile web oriented company such as Holidaycheck AG and then moving to Volkswagen Data:Lab.
My main task is to support the data science teams providing to them all the best solutions they needs for their daily work.

Due to my past experience in physics research field, I got a PhD in physics, I naturally apply the same scientific approach on my daily work, testing new tools and software, trying to find the best solution when available or creating a new one if needed.

I work at my best in an environment where I can have the opportunity to learn and try new technologies always having in mind the reliability and availability of the entire system.

In this context I'm used to attend to schools, workshops and meetups where I can increase and share my knowledge while creating new connections.
