Colin Fernandes is a seasoned ICT professional with 32 years wealth of experience and a proven track record in helping sales teams, partners and customers to create business value and (over) achieve their goals. He has successfully worked for software start-ups, but also medium and large companies, in a variety of roles, including sales, solution engineering, business development, product marketing and field readiness.
Currently, Colin is working for Sumo Logic, as EMEA Product Market Development Director an industry leading SaaS based cloud analytics company backed by great VC's, and with an impressive list of customers and partners. Based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, he is part of a winning team that will grow Sumo Logic’s business in the EMEA region. Sumo Logic is a secure, cloud-native, machine data analytics platform, delivering real-time, continuous intelligence from structured, semi-structured and unstructured data across the entire application lifecycle and stack. Before Colin joined Sumo Logic, Colin worked at VMware, where he was responsible for market development and field readiness initiatives to grow VMware’s Telco NFV Business. Prior to this, he successfully developed and delivered sales and partner enablement programs to drive VMware’s Cloud Management Business. Prior to VMware, Colin worked at world leading software companies including HP Software, Mercury, IBM Tivoli (Start up), ATG (Start up) KPMG, Morgan Grenfell and ICL.
