After graduating in Computer Science at Pisa University, I started my professional experience in a software consultancy company (Pride Spa) where I worked in the design and development of large-scale telecommunication systems, multimedia applications, audio and video streaming, web applications, multi-tier systems, work-flow engines, data-base systems and component-based software engineering infrastructures. Leading, there, teams on projects involving Italian and later European customers.

I joined Honda, in the European research center focused on intelligent systems. I have been leading the advanced software technology group, directing research and development of large-scale software integration frameworks/middlewares for the creation of complex/parallel systems running on Honda products (cars, robots, motorcycles). I have been working on several robotics project (focused on our humanoid robot ASIMO) and ADAS/AD system for Honda vehicles.
