At the same time, diverse regulatory frameworks and geopolitical factors shape how different regions approach cybersecurity and resilience in automotive systems. Understanding these varied landscapes – from China’s rapidly evolving market to regulatory developments like the EU’s Cyber Resilience Act and policies in the USA – is crucial for stakeholders aiming to secure the next generation of vehicles. Additionally, the semiconductor industry plays a pivotal role in delivering the hardware foundation necessary for robust security in increasingly complex automotive environments. This keynote explores the strategic and technological challenges arising from these dynamics and their implications for the global automotive ecosystem.
